Particleillusion update

Wondertouch today announced updated versions of its particleIllusion 3.0 and particleIllusion SE effects creation tools for Mac OS X. Users of 3.0 now have integrated rendering capability, using the pIllusionRender tool for HD rendering without switching programs. Emitter libraries can now be automatically updated each month for both versions, or searched with a particleView Search Engine. Quick load library features have been improved and many bugs fixed.

ParticleIllusion is capable of creating a long list of effects including explosions, fire, smoke, backgrounds, creatures, and abstract art. The SE version supports a single layer of footage and emitters, while the 3.0 version allows multiple layers. Other new features include Super Emitters, a "don't erase" option that leaves the particles in view, and the ability to use Forces to affect the particles after they have been created.

For users currently using registered versions of particleIllusion 3.0 or SE, they can update to 3.0.7 or 2.0.2 with a free download from Wondertouch. For new users, particleIllusion 3.0 is available for $390 and particleIllusion SE for $100, both compatible with MAC OS X.
