Creative shows X-Fi Go!

Between the upcoming IFA show in Berlin and COMEX in Singapore taking place at the end of this month, Creative will show off at least three new products, including the Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! portable USB sound card, the N400 speakers and EP-430 in-ear earphones. The X-Fi Go! uses a microphone and headset port but differs from the earlier USB Play! sound card with the company's X-Fi audio processing software and 1GB of internal storage capacity.

The small sound card has EAX Advanced HD 4.0 and OpenAL support for gaming, in addition to X-Fi's 24-bit Crystallizer enhancement and CMSS-3D processing. Alchemy and WaveStudio software comes pre-loaded as well. Pricing for the X-Fi Go! is expected to come in at the equivalent of about $56 in Singapore.

The company will also unveil its N400 USB-powered X-Fi speakers at the conventions, which are meant for use with notebooks. With the same X-Fi sound processing integrated into the 2W RMS twin 2-inch drivers, they include media controls on their front panel. A zip-up travel case is included and equivalent pricing is set at about $86.

For personal audio enjoyment, Creative will also show its EP-430 in-ear earphones, which are available in six colors. Sporting a 10mm Neodymium magnet driver, the earphones are connected with a 4-foot long oxygen-free copper cord. Pricing in Singapore will be the equivalent of about $20. [via Epizenter]
