Curio updated to v5.0
Zengobi has announced a major update to it brainstorming and project management software, Curio 5.0. Curio features a freeform interface designed to promote creativity and free thinking. New in v5.0 is a Status Shelf for tracking to-do items over multiple projects and iCal synchronization for events and to-do items. Also new are Idea Space templates and collapsible mind maps. An Inspector bar, figure styles and color-coded dates have been added, and the Scrapbook shelf, search features and cross-project linking have all been upgraded.
Curio allows users to gather, associate and recall ideas and concepts, providing one location for notes, documents and other project-related items. It features outlining and mind-mapping, giving visual representations of ideas, can record video and audio for annotations, and offers an asset library for cross-referencing projects and concepts.
Curio 5.0 is available in a Standard and Pro version, with Status Shelf, Idea Space Templates and Presentation Mode among the Pro features. The Standard edition is $100 while the Pro edition costs $150. There are academic discounts available and the software works with Max OS X 10.5 and above.
