Readdle has released a new document and file management application for the iPhone and iPod touch. ReaddleDocs allows users on Windows, Mac or Linux to transfer files over to an iPhone or iPod touch and then view them on the go or send them by email. ReaddleDocs works by giving users a free 512MB of online storage space: the space can be filled with any type of file which can then be accessed on an iPhone.
Users will find support for most common business file types including Word documents (.doc, .docx), Excel files (.xls, .xlsx) Powerpoint presentations (.ppt, .pptx) and even PDF files. Support for users who like to use their device for reading books has also been added; common book formats such as TXT, FB2, RTF and HTML are all supported and have the capability for quick scrolling and bookmarking.
The application is available for $15 in the app store and options to upgrade the amount of online storage to 2GB or 10GB exists for 5$ and 10$ respectively.
