Jabra SP700 car or desk

Jabra has introduced its newest Bluetooth device, the SP700, a dual purpose speakerphone with an FM transmitter, according to The Headset Gazette. This speakerphone can clip onto a vehicle's sun visor or placed on a desk for handsfree talking. The SP700 will transmit to FM radio so the conversation can be 'forwarded' to the vehicle's sound system. Caller ID is even transmitted, showing the phone number on any RDS compatible radio display. Jabra claims a talk time of 14 hrs or standby time of 10.5 days.

A built in digital signal processor is used to reduce background noise and echo. The SP700 offers a night driving mode and auto off mode to conserve power. Other features include autopairing, voice dialing, last number redial, call reject, or mute. The device can operate in 10 different languages. Overall dimensions are 5" x 2.4" x .7" with a weight of 3oz. Jabra includes a USB charger, car charger, and visor clip. The SP700 supports Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. The price will be $100 and shipping will begin later this month.
