Fort Worth store opening

Apple has announced that the grand opening of a new retail store in Fort Worth, Texas will happen this upcoming Saturday, August 23rd. The new store is located on University Drive, and will be the 15th Apple Store located in Texas. The location is halfway between downtown and TCU (Texas Christian University), giving both students and residents of Fort Worth easy access.

The shop should feature all of Apple's normal retail services, such as a Genius Bar, workshops, business services and personal shoppers. In a recent quarterly conference call, Apple said it hopes to have 242 stores open worldwide by the end of the year, up from 216 in July. To that end the company recently opened stores in Altamonte Springs, Florida and Carlsbad, California, and appears to be preparing a third location for London, England.
