  • Label Wizard 1.1.0 includes several "user interface enhancements" and bug fixes. Black Cat Systems says its label utility gives users "complete control over the layout of the label," including text, pictures, objects and serial numbers. The $20 utility is a Universal Binary requiring Mac OS X 10.2 or higher. [Download - 3.4MB].

  • EasyCatalog CS3 3.0.7 is the latest version of 65bit Software's database publishing solution for Adobe Indesign CS3. Used to create catalogs, brochures and price lists, EasyCatalog has been updated with support for a new optional module allowing users to work with complex data sets. The update also includes several "user-requested" feature enhancements and bug Fixes. When used with EasyCatalog's Pagination Module, users can "automatically generate complex, structured documents," the company said. Easy Catalog CS3 3.07 is available for $1300.   • Karelia iMedia Browser 1.1.1 is a free open source utility used to organize content from within a variety of applications including Sandvox and FotoMagico. Version 1.1.1 adds support for iPhoto events, multiple Aperture libraries and the ability to manage custom folders in the source list. There are also dozens of performance improvements and bug fixes in the release. The free Universal Binary utility requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. [Download - 2.5MB]

  • ResizeMe 1.2 is a batch image and photo editor for Mac OS X. The latest version allows users to store and organize their favorite edit settings as bookmarks. This can be useful for those who repeatedly use the same frame or crop for different images. The utility allows users to resize, scale, rotate and flip images and supports a variety of formats, including JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, JP2, SGI and TGA.   • Default Folder X 4.0.8 is an update to the Mac OS X folder navigation utility, correcting issues with Bias Peak and QuickBooks Pro. The update may also improve performance with other applications, so it is recommended for all users. Default Folder allows users to navigate quickly through nested folders, rename, delete, archive and get information on files or folders without leaving a file dialog, set default folders for applications -- and includes a host of other features.   • VideoFlash Converter 1.7 is a utility that allows conversion of QuickTime compatible video to Adobe Flash SWF and FLV files. The app supports AVI, WMV, MOV, MPG, ASF and DivX files with a user interface that automatically provides ideal default conversion settings and the ability to crop, adjust video quality and control other preferences.   • DiskLibrary 1.8.1 , a media cataloguing application for Mac OS X, adds support for Adobe Flash video files, bug fixes and enhanced support for importing DiskTracker files. DiskLibrary catalogs a user's complete file structure, creates thumbnails and stores metadata for most media formats. The $40 utility is a Universal Binary file requiring Mac OS X 10.4.6 or 10.5.2 or higher. [Download - 14.9MB]
