ScreenCap 1.8 released

MacVide has released ScreenCap 1.8, a screen capture utility for Mac OS X. The software is mainly intended to provide stills or video of a desktop for purposes like tutorials, and in the case of video, it can additionally supply audio from a microphone or similar sound source. The utility further serves as a monitoring tool, through the use of video or timed screenshots.

Users can capture part or all of a screen, and save to MOV, MP4 or 3GP video formats, as well as FLV or SWF Flash files. Static image formats include JPEG, BMP, TIFF and PNG. The software requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and costs $40 for a single license.
