Noise Buster 6.1 ships
Akvis says it has updated its Noise Buster software to v6.1. Noise Buster was created to help users more easily remove noise from digital photographs. The update's noise suppression algorithm has been slightly modified to improve overall performance, and several bugs have been fixed. Users can also translate the program into a new language, Italian.
Noise Buster is available as a standalone application or as a plug-in. The plug-in is compatible with most major photo applications, including Photoshop, Corel Photo-Paint and Paint Shop Pro Photo. Both versions of the software cost $50, and require a Mac with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
