Like Thought ships Opacity Express graphics editor

updated 03:55 pm EDT, Wed August 13, 2008

Opacity Express released

Like Thought has announced a new, slimmed-down graphics editor, Opacity Express. The new release is based on Opacity, but has been scaled back to specific uses. Many features from Opacity have been included, such as vectors, layers, variables and factories; Express uses a simpler interface however, and removes some of the content surrounding its vector and pixel editors.

Express' vector support includes paths, gradients, lines, text and more. Tools include automatic pixel alignment and resolution variables, used to hide details at low resolutions. Pixel tools include pencil, eraser and fill options, as well as filters, which act as live layers with support for masking.

A free trial version of Opacity Express is available for download, while a license can be purchased for $40.
