Sony W760a coming to AT&T?

While unofficial, an image leaked online suggests one of Sony Ericsson's newer Walkman handsets, the W760a, will be offered on AT&T's network in the near future. The carrier's logo appears on the front of the phone, which itself passed through the FCC's approval process a few weeks earlier. The device will be one of AT&T's first 3G-capable Walkman devices with 850MHz and 1900MHz support for HSDPA, and will also feature a built-in GPS receiver along with a motion sensor for tilt-operated functions.

Other standards users can expect will include integrated MP3 player controls, an FM radio with RDS data support, stereo speakers and A2DP Bluetooth support for wireless stereo earphones. The 3.2-megapixel camera is an upgrade over the two-megapixel cameras found on most previous AT&T-bound Sony Ericsson phones and should support both movie and still shot capturing, though whether it will handle the carrier's Video Share one-way calls is unknown.

There are no details known about the release date or pricing of the W760a, though its appearance is likely before the end of the year.
