ScreenFlow 1.2 improves copy/paste, adds fixes

Vara has released a v1.2 update to ScreenFlow, its screencast creation and editing program. Users can tweak audio and transitions, and focus on particular areas of the desktop, through effects like highlights and zooms. The new patch implements a number of changes, most crucially better copy and paste, which lets users perform both functions with clips and actions in the same document.

Other enhancements include a switch to Sparkle for software updates, and an option to make particular export settings the default for all new files. Fixes include problems with OpenGL and Quartz Composer, and smoothness when exporting high-framerate movies. ScreenFlow requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later, along with a Quartz Extreme-capable videocard. Pricing is set at $100.
