Deskology DeskSet
Deskology has launched a new line of basic desk accessories specifically designed to match Mac computers. All of the accessories are constructed of anodized aluminum and feature industrial-inspired designs. The line consists of two products: the DeskSet and Inbox. The DeskSet includes three different items: an inbox tray, business card holder and pencil cup. The DeskSet sells for $160 or $100 for only the inbox tray. Both items are currently available for pre-order and will begin shipping in late-August.
As part of a launch promotion Deskology is offering free shipping and 20-percent of all pre-orders. Free shipping applies to all orders shipping within the USA, while the discount promotion is valid on all pre-orders. In order to receive the discount, buyers must enter the code "PREORDER1" during checkout.

The pencil cup alone is $70, right? They must be looking for over 1000% profit.

Joke?

LOL!
These are just normal office accessories in grey. I'm not seeing the macness here. You can buy these in office works.
Is this just a joke?

Not real

These are 3D renderings, there are no real product photos here. Even their website says "20% OFF PRE-ORDERS", so they are obviously not shipping yet.
I don't see why anyone would dish-out such cash for products that don't seem to have prototypes made yet.

if the color matched the Mac's color, it might be worth it. And if someone actually cared about such stupidity as needing to have inbox trays and pencil holders that match the color of their computer or monitor.
But maybe that's what they're counting on. The over-zealous Mac user who is so 'all mac' that they're will to spend top-top-top-top dollar for matching desk accessories.
Their motto: "If you can afford to own a Mac, you can't afford not to own these quality products too!"
