FmPro Migrator 4.36 adds Bento support

FmPro Migrator 4.36 ships
.com Solutions has released the v4.36 update to FmPro Migrator, its companion tool for FileMaker Pro. The software is intended mostly for converting FileMaker databases to other formats, such as Access, MySQL, Oracle, Sybase and OpenBase. It can also consolidate tables from earlier editions of FileMaker for versions 7, 8 and 9, which should enable better security options.
The v4.36 patch brings in a conversion option for Bento, FileMaker's simplified database program intended for the public and small businesses. Migrator scans the tables, forms and relationships in a .bentodb file, and reshapes the data for FileMaker Pro. Forms are molded into layouts, which can then be pasted into FileMaker; each should retain content "similar" in arrangement to the original, including fields, highlighting, header graphics and background patterns. Records with URLs, e-mail addresses and IM contacts are loaded into FileMaker portals.
The upgrade is free to existing Migrator users, but a full single-user license costs $100.
