del.icio.us goes through overhaul, domain change
Social bookmarking site Delicious on Thursday announced it has refined its services greatly, while also adding a new domain name through which the site can be reached, Delicious.com. According to a post on Delicious' blog, the various refinements have allowed the company to enhance speed, search capability, and overall layout of the site. The domain name change reportedly stems from confusion among users in the spelling of del.icio.us, but the site can still be accessed through its former moniker.
Delicious cites a new infrastructure as the largest enhancement to speed, allowing users to quickly navigate a responsive page. The search engine has been improved to supply quicker, and more thorough results. Overall page design is improved as well, adding a few requested features, as well as making the site easier to understand for beginners, while not compromising what veterans are used to.
Delicious has provided an introductory movie for users to explore the new changes.

What the hell?
Are you SERIOUS? Normally, unrelated crap on MacNN is about electronics. Why the hell are you writing about del.icio.us?
unrelated
i like reading MacNN and the 'not so related" items are always interesting enough for me because Apple is now competing on so many different markets. Cloud computing and cloud services being one of them.
