Democracy 2 announced

Red Marble Games has announced the release of Democracy 2 for the Macintosh, a political simulation/strategy game that puts players in a position of power as either the president or prime minister of a country of their choosing . Players are then able to control the country in the manner they see as right. The game then simulates the motivations, loyalties and desires of everyone in the nation. By making choices to resolve dilemmas and implementing various policies, players work towards improving their country without angering enough voters to be turned out of office.

Democracy 2 covers policy debates in more depth than the original game, ranging from school prayer to state health care. Players are now presented with far more policies to implement, as well as a much greater simulation of rewards and consequences that could come with each decision. Democracy 2 also adds cabinet ministers, each responsible for different aspects of a country's policy. The player will need to monitor these ministers loyalty and effectiveness, or lose the political power that they can help bring.

Democracy 2 is available for $23 and can be downloaded from Red Marble Games' website.

    Wuh?

Man, I don't see how I could play this game objectively. I'd just nuke the whole world and lose the game every time.

I'd rather play the good ole strategy games that let you just battle for control. lol.
