Apple deals: iPods, computers under $1,000

Apple's online store is currently offering refurbished 8GB iPod nanos in silver, blue, green, black and pink for $149 that hold up to 2,000 songs for up to 24 hours of music playback, or up to 5 hours of video playback. A 4GB model is also available in silver for $99 that holds up to 1,000 songs. Also available are iPod touch models with three storage capacities to chose from 8GB (up to 1,750 songs) for $199, 16GB (up to $3,500 songs) for $299, and 32GB (up to 7,000 songs) for $429. Each iPod comes with Apple earphones, USB cable and dock adapter.

Mac computers for under $1,000 include the 20-inch iMac for $949 with 1GB of memory, 250GB hard drive and 2.0GHz processor, also available for $949 is the white MacBook with 2.1GHz processor, 1GB of memory and 120GB hard drive. Both models have built-in wireless card, Bluetooth, iSight camera and 8x SuperDrive. For $679 is the Mac mini with a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of memory and 120GB hard drive. Other items include the wireless keyboard for $69 and AirPort Express base station for $79.
