AirPort Extreme 2008-002
Apple on Friday offered the AirPort Exteme Update 2008-002, which the company is recommending for all Intel-based Macs running Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger. The update notes that it improves overall reliability of AirPort connections between the computer and the Base Station, but also claims it resolves several compatibility issues with audio applications, such as GarageBand, Logic, and MainStage, among others.
The update does not specifically mention what issues it resolves with the above-mentioned applications. Users can obtain the update through Apple's support page, or through Software Update under the Apple Menu.
