Apple's iLife '08 update: iMovie, iPhoto, iWeb

Apple updates iLife

Apple today released software updates for iLife 8.0, the software suite that ships with most Macs. The release is largely aimed at fixing bugs and compatibility issues, although iPhoto 7.14 (77.1MB) includes "new holiday greeting card and postcard themes for use with Apple print products." Also released: iLife Support 8.3 (5.5MB), iWeb 2.04 (36.3MB) and iMovie 7.14 (39.8MB).

Apple says iMovie 7.14 improves "overall stability," and fixes compatability problems and other "minor issues." IWeb 2.04 "addresses general compatability issues," as does iPhoto 7.14, which also targets overall stability and minor bug fixes. Ilife Support 8.3 could be called the backbone of iLife, because it contains components shared by all the applications in the suite. Just like the other updates, version 8.3 includes stability improvements and bug fixes.

The updates are recommended for all users of iLife 8.0, and are available from Software Update, or at Apple's iLife support page.

Tell a Friend

"Tell a Friend" still does not work in iPhoto! You simply get some mobile me garbage.
Anyway I think the whole mobile me "look" is rather cutsy-pie and not very business-like.
Syncing over my computers is a lot faster though.
