"Visual bookmarks" for Mac
Sunny Mac software has literally put a new face on bookmarks. Webbla 1.0 creates thumbnails of websites called "visual bookmarks." The bookmarks can be imported and exported to Safari, Firefox, Camino and Opera browsers, and can be organized into into collections for storage. They can also be displayed in the Finder.
Sunny Mac says users can locate visual bookmarks using Spotlight, without opening the Webbla application. Bookmarks are quickly created using a keyboard shortcut, and can be easily shared between applications. Bookmarks can be stored in collections, or "Smart Collections," to keep similar bookmarks together. By displaying a Smart Collection folder in the Sidebar of the FInder window, users can browse bookmarks in list, Quick Look or Cover Flow views.
Webbla 1.0 requires Mac OSX 10.5 or higher, and a broadband internet connection is recommended. The software is available for download for $15.
