Apple deals: MacBook Air


Currently the Apple store is offering refurbished MacBook Air models in three configurations. Prices start at $1,499 for the 1.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo model with 2GB of RAM and 80GB PATA hard drive; next is the 1.8GHz model with 2GB of RAM and 80GB PATA hard drive for $1,699 and finally the 1.8GHz model with 2GB of RAM and 60GB solid-state drive for $2,299. All three models have 13.3-inch glossy widescreen displays and include built-in wireless, Bluetooth, iSight webcam and multi-touch track pad.

MacBook Pro models in 15-inch (2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive) and 17-inch (2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive) configurations start at $1,649 and $1,899 respectively. All MacBook Pros have built-in wireless, Bluetooth, iSight webcam, 8x SuperDrive and include an Apple remote. For $949 the 13.3-inch 2.1GHz MacBook in white with 1GB RAM and 120GB hard drive as well as the aluminum 20-inch 2.0GHz iMac with 1GB RAM and 250GB hard drive are available that also boast features such as built-in iSight webcam, wireless and 8x SuperDrive.

Also available are refurbished iPod touch models with three storage capacities to chose from 8GB (up to 1,750 songs) for $199, 16GB (up to $3,500 songs) for $299, and 32GB (up to 7,000 songs) for $429. Other items include 40GB Apple TV for $199, 2.0GHz Xserve with 1GB of memory and 80GB hard drive for $1,999, wireless Mighty Mouse for $59, and wireless keyboard for $69.
