USBFever unveils iPhone aluminum case, car mount

updated 08:00 pm EDT, Tue July 15, 2008

iPhone car mount, case

USBFever has introduced two new products for the iPhone 3G: an aluminum case/a> and a flexible windshield mount. The case has a neoprene lining for shock protection and comes in metallic black or silver. The company says the lightweight case is made of high-grade aluminum and comes with a 360-degree swivel belt clip.

USBFever's 3G car kit uses suction to mount the device on a vehicle windshield. The phone rests in a holder perched on a gooseneck mount with "unlimited" adjustability, the company says. The car mount kit ships with a suction cup base.

Both items are available now from USBFever. The car kit sells for $15 plus $3 shipping; the case sells for $20 plus shipping.

    Aluminum case??

Mount looks interesting but an aluminum case will likely be a problem for signal reception.
