LivePresets for Illustrato

Artlandia has released the third in a line of productivity plug-ins for Adobe creative software. The company says LivePresets works with two basic classes of static Adobe Illustrator objects -- symbols and swatches -- and makes them editable dynamically. The plug-in allows users to interactively edit multiple art objects from a single source.

LivePresets objects can be created on-the-fly and users can take snapshots while they work, later accessing them on the "Swatches and Symbols pallet." Edits immediately apply to all Illustrator objects that use the Swatch or Symbol, including regular and compound paths, plug-ins, live effects, graphics styles, symbol sets, nested symbols, and symbols mapped on 3D objects. Freehand drawing is supported and users can add new art to a Swatch or Symbol using the "Target with Drawing Tools" mode.

The company says its $125 plug-in supports "all" versions of the Mac OS, and requires Illustrator 10 or higher (Illustrator CS2 or higher is recommended); it also works with Windows machines. The plug-in is available now individually for $125 or in bundles with other Artlandia products including SymmetryShop and SymmetryWorks.
