Jumsoft: Mail Stationery

Mac OS X 10.5 users can choose from 50 new stationery templates for Leopard's built-in Mail application. Jumsoft has released its Mail Stationery pack including "designs for "every occasion". Grouped by themes such as "invitations," "seasons," "family," and "congratulations," the professionally-designed templates add the personal touch that sems to have disappeared with the switch from paper to electronic mail.

Jumsoft says its product could prove more useful than one might think -- allowing users to communicate thoughts and feelings when they can't find the right words or are afraid to speak face-to-face. One template, for example, simply displays the impression of a kiss in red lipstick. Others celebrate promotions, births, family events or moods.

There are a host of other templates to mark the change of seasons, holidays, brag about vacations, or simply for day-to-day e-mail. The templates work alongside the Apple-designed stationery bundled with Mail. Jumsoft Mail Stationery requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher, and is available for immediate dowload at $40.
