NotifyLink Enterprise Edit
Notify Technology announced that its NotifyLink Enterprise Edition service will soon support the iPhone 3G as well as the iPhone 2G and iPod touch with iPhone 2.0 software. While the iPhone 3G is currently limited to enterprise wireless email and PIM (Personal Information Manager) synchronization support for Microsoft Exchange users, NotifyLink Enterprise Edition will expand the enterprise functionality of the devices for wireless synchronization of email and PIM (including calendar, personal address book, and global address book) over 12 email suites.
The email suites will be announced (with joint partnerships) over the next few weeks, with an August launch of the software. NotifyLink will offer both an on-site edition for companies that wish to host their own wireless email and PIM synchronization, and an on-demand version, hosted by Notify, for organizations of any size wanting to avoid the maintenance and support of an "On-Premise" solution. No pricing has been announced for the service.
"We are excited to publicly announce our support of the new iPhone 3G with our NotifyLink Enterprise Edition. With the new iPhone 3G and iPhone 2.0 upgrade for the iPhones and iPod touch, we are able to offer our enterprise, government, and educational customers with a push wireless email and PIM synchronization solution that will meet their needs," said Paul DePond, President and Founder of Notify Technology.

Curious
Having survived a not so successful NotifyLink test, I have to wonder what they're going to "add." iPhone 2.0 implements ActiveSync, and works with any server implementation of it. I have successfully used iPhone 2.0 with a Zimbra server, and I can verify that it works when configured on the iPhone as an Exchange account.
