Two companies today introduced accessories for extending the battery life for the iPod touch as well as providing extra protection for the mobile device: mStation's mophie Juice Packs extends the time between chargest by offering up to an additional 24 hours of audio playback or up to an additional seven hours of video playback. The battery comes in the form of a non-slip soft grip case that is easily attached and removed from the Touch.
In addition, Power Support has released a new case for the iPod touch that brings protection to the device, while still allowing the iPod's sleek design to shine through. The Air Jacket allows a user to protect an iPod touch without adding any additional bulk or weight. The case comes with a hard back cover and two different films for screen protection, an anti glare film and a crystal film. If the case becomes dirty it is simple to remove and then clean with water. The case is available in both clear or black and retails for $30.
