EA Griffin Gameloft games

In advance of the iPhone 3G launch, Griffin, EA Mobile, and Gameloft have all announced games for the device, with offerings ranging from classics like Tetris and Poker, to more recent hits like Sudoku and Brain Challenge. Griffin makes a transition from iPod accessories to unveil 5 Card Touch, a Vegas-style video poker game that boasts an easy-to-learn playing system and rich visuals. Griffin is selling 5 Card Touch for $2 from the iTunes App Store.

EA Mobile released three of its popular iPod games – Tetris, Sudoku, and Scrabble – for the iPhone, and reminds users of Spore, which will ship in September. EA has enhanced the three iPod games with high definition graphics, while making use of the sudden-motion sensors and touch-screen. Sudoku will sell for $8, while Tetris and Scrabble are priced at $15..

Gameloft made a large push onto the iPhone, offering six games on the app store – Bubble Bash, Chess & Backgammon Classics, Platinum Solitaire, Platinum Sudoku, Diamond Twister, and Brain Challenge. Diamond Twister puts a spin on popular gem-matching puzzle games, by incorporating the touch screen to slide pieces, while the iPhone can also be tilted to allow the player to decide where gems should next fall.

Bubble Bash revives the game formerly released on the iPod and other mobile devices, offering users a match-and-clear-under-pressure style puzzle game. Brain Challenge tests players' mental prowess, and offers games that help to sharpen the mind. Gameloft is selling its titles from $5 to $10 through the App Store.
