iGiki-iGikiApps for iPhone

iGiki has launched iGiki Apps, a new service that will offer tools for creating iPhone applications. The service is geared for non-technical users, enabling users to plan, develop, and market iPhone applications on Apple's App Store. It also aims to reduce costs and eliminate errors. At launch iGiki Apps will offer three core products, the Apps Maps System, an iPhone Professionals Marketplace, and an iPhone Knowledge database.

Apps Maps offers an environment to design iPhone applications and create concepts. Users can quickly and simply create concepts. Apps Maps will have hundreds of iPhone user-interface and programming elements and allow in-depth concepts of iPhone applications to be created.

The iPhone Marketplace will be an online professional-services marketplace focused on iPhone application development. Concepts created in Apps Maps can be shown to iPhone software developers for development quotes. Developers' portfolios of iPhone apps work can be quickly and visually evaluated via iGiki App's Visual View technology.

iGiki Apps will include a knowledge database in non-technical language to aid a user's research. A Summer 2008 launch is promised by iGiki, with a fourth major feature to be announced then. Pricing information for the service is expected shortly.
