Telecom Italia lists iPhone 3G contracts
Having already announced its pre-paid plans, Telecom Italia has published the official subscription options for the iPhone 3G. The cheapest subscription, Starter, costs €30 per month and provides 1GB of data, but still requires customers to pay per minute or text message. The 250 plan (€50) upgrades to 250 minutes and 100 texts, while the 600 plan (€80) offers 600 minutes and 200 texts.
The 900 plan (€110) moves to 900 minutes, but keeps texts at 200. The highest-end option is the Unlimited scheme (€200), which delivers 4,500 minutes and 1,200 texts, with an additional 300 each to customers of 3 Italia. The data ceiling, meanwhile, rises to 5GB.
Phone costs vary significantly based on the associated plan. While 8 and 16GB 3Gs cost €199 and €269 under Starter, these amounts shrink to €149 and €219 under 600, and €0/€69 with Unlimited. The Italian iPhone should launch on July 11th.
