Orbino ships Aria luxury case for MacBook Air
Accessory maker Orbino has released a new notebook case, the Aria. The case is designed specifically for the MacBook Air, and as a result is extremely slim; to store more than the computer, owners are expected to attach a removable accessroies pocket. In a similar manner, the shoulder strap can be removed if users want to rely on their hands, or only need to store an Air inside another case.
The exterior of the case is made of handcrafted leather, but the inside uses alcantara padding, and a frame of aircraft-grade aluminum that extends far enough outwards to provide a handle. Black, brown, red and orange leather colors are available, and the company will eventually allow customization of the aluminum and the type of skin used. Prices for an Aria start at $530.
