Workamajig updates
Workamajig -- formerly known as Creative Manager Pro -- will soon receive a significant update, according to its namesake developer. The software is a web-based project management suite, and is intended mainly for ad agencies, creative services, and design and marketing departments. Virtually all aspects of a business can be controlled, from acquiring clients through staffing, project development and finances.
Though the update is due "at the end of the summer" according to the company, details remain mostly unannounced. Currently confirmed is the addition of drag-and-drop commands to Gantt charts and the online timeline, the latter making it easier to rearrange projects from the schedule screen. Remaining changes should consist of undisclosed updates relating to Mac OS X 10.5.3; Mac OS X 10.5.4 is due by or before July 11th.
