Aspyr patches Enemy Territory QUAKE Wars

QUAKE Wars v1.5 patch


Aspyr on Tuesday released Enemy Territory QUAKE Wars v1.5, a free patch for its sci-fi first person shooter for Mac OS X. Introducing a slew of bug fixes and stability improvements, patch v1.5 is recommended for all users and promises to add more stability and improved gameplay, as well as offering workarounds to some of the more annoying bugs identified after release. Full patch notes are as follows:

Enemy Territory Quake Wars v.1.5

This is an official update for Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars. This patch will
update any previous version of Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars to version 1.5.
It is recommended for all users.

New Workarounds:

New workaround involving switching between windowed mode and full screen -
This only occurs if the window is big enough to go off the edge of the player's
screen. There is a workaround that lets the user get back to fullscreen.

Functionality:

The Mac dashboard will appear whenever the mouse wheel is selected.
The user can change their Dashboard preferences to disable the middle
mouse button bringing up the dashboard.

Mac-Only 1.5 changes:

- Fixed an issue with missing server launcher page tabs
- Fixed crash when clicking on server launcher pull down menu
- Fixed a crash during spectator mode on Valley map



Enemy Territory QUAKE Wars v1.5 patches an original copy of the game, and weighs in at 112MB.
