Alu-Magnesium metal MacBook case debuts
Decocases has introuced its Alu-Magnesium metal case which features strong protection for the MacBook and MacBook Pro and allows avoidance of overheating. Decocases Alu-Magnesium case allows the user to use the MacBook without removing it from the case while having full access to all of the MacBook's functions. The original low profile base with integrated heat conduction plate helps to cool the MacBook when in use. The company claims that other plastic or leather case may trap the heat released by MacBook and make the device from overheating.
Fully lined with neoprene, the aluminum case protects the MacBook when on the go. Neoprene lining cushions the MacBook while preventing scratches. Rubberized feet prevent slipping on smooth surfaces.
There is removable strap system which easily slides into a backpack or carry-on when strap is removed. The cases available in three size: MacBook, MacBook Pro 15", MacBook Pro17". Suggested Retail Price: $100-$150.

proof read!
EGAD! it hurts my brain to read the articles here. The articles are poorly written, never spell checked and obviously never proof read. So sadly I'll be switching to another news site.
VERY HEAVY case
This case, from their site, weighs 990 grams or 2.2 pounds.
This is one heavy case. This will make the MacBook Pro 17 plus case weigh 9.0 pounds! The MacBook Pro 17 itself weights 6.8 pounds. This will make it even porkier.
I wouldn't want 9.0 pounds on my lap.
