3G iPhone boxes showing up at Apple stores
Apple retail stores around the world are beginning to receive mysterious boxes (one box per store) with strict instructions not to be opened until next week, along with new unidentified signage. It's unknown at this time what exactly is in these boxes but a couple false reports have come in stating they contain a version 2.0 iPhone display unit. An AppleInsider report is posting similar information taking place in Apple retails stores across Australia.
The World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) does not start until tomorrow but news surrounding a 3G iPhone is already coming out of Spain. Corriere della Sere is reporting that Telefňnica, the exclusive iPhone service provider in Spain, is reporting that the new version of the iPhone will be sold at a discounted price (156 circa) to those customers who sign a new two-year contract with the company. This business practice, if true, will go against everything Apple has done in the past when it comes to the selling of its iPhone product.

Misleading headline...
People should really stop attempting to guess what Apple is going to do and just let it happen. Between the financial analysts who want to control the direction of the market to the pundits who just want to say they were the first to know it was coming, just give it a rest. The headline used on this article begins with '3G iPhone,' when in this same article you describe the boxes showing up at Apple retail stores as 'mysterious.' This just appears to be another media feeding frenzy. PLEASE...just stop it!
