updated 03:10 pm EDT, Fri June 6, 2008

CrushFTP 4.8 update

CrushFTP 4.8 was unveiled on Friday, providing several new features and bug fixes, including a few interface optimizations. The CrushUploader file browser has been refined, and can handle forms on multiple batches. CrushSQL users are able to request their password through email, and the "freespace" tag shows available drive space on a given volume. CrushFTP 4.8 is available starting at $30 for 10 concurrent users, with licenses available for up to unlimited users.

In addition, CrushFTP 4.8 adds a miniUrlManager plug-in, while SFTP now supports AES 128 and 256 bit encryption, with a faster, better cipher. CrushFTP includes support for FTP Implicit for proxy settings, as well as log rolling, and a "last one day" option for running multiple reports.

The new version also includes fixes problems related to the ban list, Crush Uploader when used with Apache, email events, and several others.
