Westinghouse HDTV models

Westinghouse Digital on Tuesday unveiled four new 1080p-capable LCD TVs, as well as several other multi-purpose LCD TVs, including its portable and all-in-one units. New to the 1080p TX lineup are the 42-inch TX-42F430S, the 47-inch TX-47F430S, and the 52-inch TX-52F480S, which feature an integrated ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM Tuner, and 1080p resolution through all high-definition connectors, including component and VGA.

A high-point of the TX line of TVs are the Full Color Spectrum and High Contrast Picture settings to create additional color dynamics on the screen, with an Advanced Calibration Menu for experienced users to make custom settings.

In addition to the three standalone LCD models, Westinghouse Digital also revealed the VK-40F580D HDTV/DVD combo unit, which couples a 40-inch 1080p LCD TV with an upscaling DVD player. It also features the same HD OTA tuner, with two HDMI inputs.

The 40-inch VK series TV will be available for $1099, while the TX series ranges from $1199, $1599, and $1999, for the 42-, 47-, and 52-inch models respectively. The 52-inch TX model also comes with a subwoofer.

The entry-level 32-inch W3223 and 26-inch W2613 720p LCD HDTVs offer users a relatively inexpensive HD experience, at $699 and $499 respectively. The TV's feature an ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuner, multiple HD inputs, with support for 480i/p, 720i/p, and 1080i HD resolutions.

Westinghouse Digital's mid-range SK line also offers identical resolutions and HD tuners to the W line, except offering a faster response time, ideal for console and PC gaming. The 26-inch SK-26H730S and 32-inch SK-32H730S sell for $599 and $749, respectively, while a DVD-enabled SK-26H590D and SK-32H590D are available for $649 and $849.

Lastly, the 16-inch PT-16H120S and 19-inch PT-19H140S are portable models, ideal for smaller rooms, RVs, campers, or other such smaller or mobile locations. Westinghouse Digital is selling the two models for $279 and $379. The dual-hinged, folding PT16H610S allows users to store an HDTV almost anywhere, such as under a cabinet, mounted to a wall, or on a countertop, and sells for $329
