Skins for iPhone

Rock fans and would-be rock stars can now show their pride with their iPods and other handheld devices. GHskinz.com has released guitar-themed skins that can add some rock-and-roll flavor to the iPod touch and the iPhone as well as the Nintendo DS Lite and the Sony PSP video game systems. The company was built around designing skins for the games "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band," allowing players to make the game's guitar-shaped controllers sport more than 20 different stylized designs, some inspired by Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zack Wylde.

The designs include pink bursts with stars, black skulls and stripes. Prices for the skins vary from device to device: about $5 for the Nintendo DS, iPhone and iPod touch, $11 for the Sony PSP, and $16 for the Wii, Xbox 360 and the full-size "Guitar Hero"/"Rock Band" controller skins. Skins for the iPhone and PSP also come with a link to download a matching background image for the device, and PSP owners will also get a clear screen protector.

"Handheld gaming systems and cell phones have become a big part of our everyday lives so it makes sense that people would want to customize something that they have with them at all times," said Matt Witek, cofounder of the GHskinz.com.

    Awwww.

Damn it, I thought you meant we could customise the skins themselves! Shame to hear it's slightly more mundane than the title had me believe....
