TeliaSonera Carries iPhone
TeliaSonera on Tuesday morning revealed it would carry the iPhone for all of Scandinavia as well as multiple Baltic nations. The deal provides the Apple phone to Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden in the North, and also offers coverage to Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. As with a string of recent carrier announcements in recent weeks, TeliaSonera doesn't provide details of plans or pricing and says only that it will carry the iPhone "later this year."
The deal expands the number of new countries carring the iPhone to near 50 and brings the iPhone into the home markets of some of its direct competitors, including Nokia in Finland and Sony Ericsson in Sweden.
Apple is widely expected to announce full details of a 3G-capable iPhone, which is considered essential to a successful launch in these northern regions, at the Worldwide Developers Conference in less than two weeks' time. Most also anticipate additional details about carrier launches during or near the event.

Finally or too late?

Many people who wanted iPhone already got it in Baltics, but of course, legal version would be nice for some. I thought it will take longer time for Apple to deliver iPhone to Baltic countries, in this case Scandinavian assistance was the key. But once again, Steve Jobs knows better which provider is the best(est) :-) Loyal Bite customer.
