Review, Sonnet, eBooks

MacNN has reviewed the Treadz for the 3G iPod nano, Sonnet repositioned the Fusion F2 with a new price, and two new eBooks to train users on Garageband. This extra-thick polished silicone case offers good corner protection and covers the basic nano form. Don't let the extra-thick marketing fool you though, it is only 1mm thicker than other cases I tested, which means it's 2mm thick instead of one. iFrogz is currently offering 40-percent off all products for its Memorial Day Sale.

Sonnet recently dropped the price of the Fusion F2 portable RAID system, offering users 640GB of optimized storage space for $700. The low-profiled drive uses two 320GB 2.5" SATA hard drives at 5400RPM which are individually protected from shock, while the side-by-side configuration increases heat dissipation.

Seattle-based musician Jeff Tolbert on Friday unveiled two new eBooks for GarageBand '08 enthusiasts, entitled "Take Control of Making Music with GarageBand '08" and "Take Control of Recording with GarageBand '08". The former introduces users to built-in and user-created loops, as well as how to create a proper plan for a song, while the latter teaches users to optimize their equipment setups. Both eBooks are available for $17.50 together, or $10 separately.
