Iogear intros ultra-portable emergency charger

On Thursday, Iogear introduced the GearJuice Rescue Charger to supplement its GearJuice mobile pocket power portable battery and JuiceMeter portable battery tester. The company promises an extra 15 minutes of energy to mobile devices such as MP3 players or phones that use a mini USB connection for charging.

The small and simple device requires one commonly found AA battery as its power source to give devices such as Blackberry PDAs and most digital audio players a boost in power. The GearJuice charger comes with a one-year warranty and is currently available on Iogear's web store and in retailer stores for about $12.
