MacCase Classic Case
MacCase on Friday re-introduced the Classic Case, a brand new reincarnation of the company’s original product, offering users a retro look that fits the clamshell iBook, 12” iBooks and 13” MacBooks. Resembling the clamshell iBook, the case comes in graphite, blueberry, orange, lime, and indigo finishes, with a clear cutout for the portable’s logo. MacCase is selling the Classic Case for $50, with all five colors available from the company directly and through select retailers.
"Demand for the case was high but Apple kept developing new products, and so did we," said Michael Santoro, president and chief creative officer for MacCase. "We had no plans to continue the case after it sold out, but requests continued and then escalated with the launch of the 13” MacBook. The unique design really taps into the ‘anti-status quo’ element within the Apple community. We are happy to continue being a part of that."

Bathroom Scale

My father almost climbed on mine (years ago) thinking it was a bathroom scale. Despite all that, the clamshell iBooks were delightfully eccentric. I have a blue one that I gave to my girlfriend's son...and he loves it still.
