    my gawd...

Is there a reason for a pic of atheism jihadist d*** Dawkins accompanying this story? Dawkins has lost the plot in trying to teach about evolution by turning on all world religions. His brand of extreme religious intolerance to people of all faiths is something out of the dark ages and should not be something MacNN promotes in this age of relative religious freedoms and tolerance. Shame on MacNN.

    Dawkins?

Yeah, it's odd to have Dawkins as the photo for this story. That said, the terms "jihadist" and "intolerance" are idiotic in the extreme -- I haven't heard Dawkins suggesting people should fly planes into buildings because they are atheists, or that US Gulf Coast cities deserve to be devastated by hurricanes because they are too religious. Dawkins suggests that religious beliefs should be assess just like any other beliefs, and shouldn't get a free ride just because they involve superstition. If you think that's "extreme intolerance", you need to get out more.

    Nice

I live in Belgium but now i can get some american prepay cards to buy BBC shows. A Torchwood serie costs me 31 euro with British prepay cards but only about 17 euro via the US store. Why is the BBC asking double the price in there own country? I bet the series are cheaper to make when sold in the US. :/

    Re: dawkins

Since atheism is a rejection of all Gods, and a jihadist is generally used to define one who fights for Islam, isn't it impossible to be an atheism jihadist? And you give MacNN lot's of credit. Did it ever occur to you they have no idea who he is, but used his picture because it was available/linked somewhere?

    back on topic

So, back on the topic of BBC America shows on iTunes...yay! One step closer to being able to dump Comcast and switch to free broadcast TV combined with iTunes purchases!! They just need to add a few more shows and we are there!(Oh, and upgrading TV shows to HD would be the final nail in the coffin! Comcast's HD quality has been going down the tubes as they cram more and more show and try to squeeze more bandwidth out of their network.)

    BBC UK shows?

Why can't they release BBC UK shows in the US? It's not like they need to translate them or add subtitles (although subtitles certainly might help us parse some of those thick accents sometimes)... What's wrong with these networks, refusing to distribute content worldwide, or at least in as many places as possible? It's like they WANT to encourage P2P distribution of their content.
