Media Collector 300

IntelliScanner on Thursday introduced Media Collector 300, an intelligent barcode reader and software solution for organizing media. Media Collector provides detailed information on books, DVDs, CDs and games using an Internet-enabled database and AutoFill technology. The easy-to-use system helps organize any media collection with innovative features to create custom searches, comparison shop online and access collections on an iPhone. Media Collector offers a seamless solution for organizing, searching and sharing media. The Media Collector 300 collection includes everything to organize media instantly in one box - an IntelliScanner barcode reader, media management software and pre-printed asset tags for items without barcodes. The scanner and software is now shipping worldwide for $150.

After scanning the retail barcode on books, music, movies and games, the media software automatically downloads details like the song title, movie review and cover art into a database – just like iTunes. Users can automatically sort their collections by title, add ratings and comments, search fields, track borrowers, save frequent searches and export data. In addition, Media Collector's built-in reports tool allows users to create custom lists and insurance reports for easy reference.

Media Collector's integrated shopping feature allows users to find online prices before making purchases. Users scan the items they are interested in buying and select the new media shopping list feature to download the scans. Media Collector automatically finds discount Internet prices for easy comparison shopping.

Media Collector offers instant publishing with IntelliScanner.net, a free online account powered by Web 2.0 technology. With just a few simple clicks, users can create their own personal website to browse their collections online or share with friends. Media Collector's included iPhone application allows users to access their collections anywhere at www.intelliscanner.net.
