Canon PIXMA iP100

Canon today catered to a growing number of notebook users who need printing with a new PIXMA design. The iP100 prints color pictures up to letter size but is small and light enough to fit in a travel bag alongside a computer: Canon weighs the device at 4.4 pounds and calls it thin at 2.4 inches deep. The new PIXMA is also said to be relatively quick with up to 20 pages per minute in color or 14 in grayscale, and is sharper than most other travel printers at a 9600x2400 resolution.

The iP100 further handles road-going work with the option of a lithium-ion battery pack ($100) or a Bluetooth adapter ($50) for printing from many notebooks as well as some cellphones and handhelds. The battery lasts for roughly three hours of constant printing. Canon's new offering supports both Mac OS X and Windows systems and will ship later this month for $250.

I just want to know when the new 5D is coming out. EVERY other camera has the Digic III processor in it, why not the 5D. Grrrrr
