iPhone tops at Apple Store
The 16GB iPhone was the best seller last week at the online Apple Store, according to a new report. As part of a regular update on the storefront's 10 most popular products, I4U claims that Apple's biggest-capacity iPhone surpassed any other offering during the final week of March, beating out other common choices such as MacBooks or the iPod nano. Second place was in fact taken by the 8GB iPhone, helping to cement its iconic status.
It is widely anticipated by analysts that Apple will release one or more new iPhones with next few months, possibly as soon as late June or early July. The chief of AT&T, Ralph de la Vega, recently added to speculation by including the iPhone in a list of promised 3G devices.

Thanks for those Euros
I believe the biggest reason for the tremendous sales of iPhones is due to the weak as water US Dollar. I live in New York and travel to Europe several time a year and have seen prices how little I can aford these days. The street in NYC are flooded with Europeans shopping for everything. With sales tax only around 8% compared to 20-25 % in most of Europe. I was in the Apple Soho store last week and the long line 30+ people for the most part were not natives.
