New 'Get a Mac' ads

Continuing a new marketing push, Apple has two new Get a Mac television ads online. The first, "Yoga," attacks the reliability of Windows Vista, suggesting that it continues to be broken after more than a year on shelves. In turn it claims that many people could have avoided headaches by switching to a Mac early on, escaping the loss of important data, in this case the figures for a yoga business.

"Breakthrough" argues that problems with PCs are attributable not to Vista, but the fact that they use hardware and software from a number of different sources. They are not designed to work together, the ad suggests, an inherent advantage of Macs.

    A couple of good-

looking babes in the ads certainly can't hurt. Poor Vista. Apple is certainly giving it some whacks. The Yoga girl seems to have a lot of pent up attitude. The new ads were OK.

Yes, the Yoga instructor is hilariously played by Judy Greerwho played Lucy Wyman in that Jennifer Garner movie "13 Going On 30."
