Jabra BT4010 headset

GN on Tuesday announced its newest Jabra headset, the BT4010, which is a Bluetooth headset with an integrated LCD display. What the company calls a Smart Display, the small LCD provides information on the headset's battery charge level as well as connection and call status. In addition, the BT4010 has an auto-pairing feature via its Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR specification.

The headset's battery life is rated at a maximum of six hours of talk time or 150 hours of standby, and comes with a micro USB charger connection that enables laptops or computers to power it. The BT4010's weight of approximately 0.35 ounces is supported with a choice of two different sized ear hooks that can be detached.

The BT4010 will be available this spring for nearly $60.

I wonder if this model will feature the same clever technology that the Jawbone has, which prevents it from working if you have sideburns.

    apparently not

Looks like only Aliph uses that particular trick... Jabra does not. So, hey, maybe this will be a good unit.
