Sorensen Squeeze 5 update

Sorensen today unveiled Sorensen Squeeze 5, a major update to its video encoding tool that introduces several speed, quality and workflow enhancements. The new version increases both video and audio quality overall, and includes multi-processor support, allowing users to encode as many fines as they have processor cores. Sorensen Squeeze 5 is available directly from the company's website for prices starting at $200.

In addition, Sorensen includes three new codec’s: VC-1, ATSC A-52, and H.264 for Flash. Several new filters are also provided, such as watermark, hue-and-saturation, sharpen, audio duration, and audio volume.

animation compression

Any suggestions for compressing animation? or just generating clean video?

Simple 2D animation with solid colors...

should be easy, but everything I tried was lossy and messy with lots of noise and artifacts.

Also suggestions for full-color animation sometimes needed.

thx

That sounds like something that actually might best be done in Flash, although that is another can of worms.
