StorPack offers combination RAID units

Enhance Technology recently announced it would combine its StorPack series multi-disk backplanes with the RocketRAID 3150, 3520, and 2312 series internal SATA RAID controllers, offering them as a dense storage option for embedded applications. The StorPack series allows users to mount multiple low-profile 3.5" drives into a standard 5.25" drive bay or external disk enclosure. Pricing was not readily available for the combinations.

The RocketRAID 3520 offers users two internal mini-SAS connector ports to connect up to eight SATA hard drives, while the 3510 offers one SATA port for up to four drives. The 2312 is a PCI-Express x4 RAID controller with two internal and two external SATA connectors, and all models support the following Advance RAID levels: 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD.
