ivyskin case covers touchscreen, stays functional

ivyskin Xylo T2 case

ivyskin has introduced a new case for the iPhone, the Xylo T2. Despite the fact that the T2 is a hard case that covers the touchscreen, ivyskin claims that users can continue to operate their phone, through a design that "passes ultrasonic waves" to the screen without interference. The case is otherwise made of conventional polycarbonate, and is translucent in most areas except for front panels which help it blend in aesthetically.

The T2 protects against scratches and dust, but contains openings for all essential ports and physical buttons, such as the Home and Hold controls, the dock connector, and the camera lens. ivyskin is now selling the case online for $35.

Bought this 2 days ago and love it! I have the DLO jam jacket & Seidio InnoCase & Invisible Shield and will never use them again. The touch screen cover responds like its not even there.I recommend this case to all who have bought a case that does not protect the screen.I got it for 34.99 shipped but they may have taken off the free shipping promo. ivyskin.com

Bought it one month ago, and it is boxed again and waiting for a second life. Even though i cleaned and dried the iPhone and the inside of the skin, a "ghost" kept coming up. Moving in shape and intensity, but always blocking my view (especially on a bright day) and disgracing my iPhone.

    NOT TO BE RECOMMENDED!

    Very Disappointing

There were 2 problems. The first is the "blotching" others have noted (and i have cleaned it very well). The second problem is that you actually have to press HARD around the edges of the screen and especially the corners to get your touch to register. Using the "space-bar" is a struggle. This case is great in theory, but it is not ready yet. I am returning it.
